Who We Are
Paschimbanga Adivasi Kora Samaj is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to the holistic development and empowerment of the Kora tribal community across West Bengal. Registered under The West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961, we strive to bridge the gap in education, healthcare, and socio-economic opportunities. Our collective goal is to preserve our rich cultural heritage while fostering a sustainable and dignified future for every individual within our society.

Our Journey
The journey of Paschimbanga Adivasi Kora Samaj began with a noble thought on February 3, 2024. What started as a small initiative to serve our people has now grown into a structured movement. We officially achieved our legal milestone by getting registered on January 7, 2025. Since our inception, we have been working relentlessly to bring positive change to the lives of the marginalized.
Our Mission
Our mission is to tirelessly empower the marginalized Adivasi Kora community by bridging the gap between tradition and modern development. We are committed to providing quality education to every child, ensuring accessible healthcare for families, and creating sustainable economic opportunities. Through dedicated social initiatives, we strive to eradicate poverty and illiteracy while fiercely protecting our unique cultural identity. We act as a catalyst for change, building a foundation of dignity, self-reliance, and unity for generations to come.
What We Do (Our Impact)
We believe in action. Over a short period, we have successfully executed several initiatives across key sectors:
Healthcare Initiatives: We prioritize community health. To date, we have organized 5 Free Health Check-up Camps and 1 Voluntary Blood Donation Camp to support critical medical needs.
Disaster Relief & Social Welfare: In times of crisis, we stand by our people. During the devastating floods, we reached out to affected villages with essential relief materials, including tarpaulins, blankets, and clothing.
Education & Career Guidance: Education is the backbone of our progress. We distribute books, notebooks, and pens to underprivileged children. Additionally, we conduct Career Counseling sessions for students to guide them toward a bright future.
Women Empowerment: We are committed to making our women financially independent. We have organized Skill Development Training on making cakes and biscuits, enabling women to start their own small businesses.
Environmental Awareness: We actively promote a greener earth and have ongoing plans for Tree Plantation Drives to maintain ecological balance.

We envision a self-reliant Adivasi Kora society where every child has access to quality education and every family enjoys economic stability. Our goal is to empower our community to thrive in the modern world while proudly preserving our rich cultural heritage, dignity, and unity for future generations.
